Ailsa Leslie graduated from LCC in 2009 with a BA in Journalism. She applied to the Daily Mail graduate trainee scheme and was one of a handful selected from 800 applicants. She now works as Commissioning Editor on the ‘Femail’ section of the Daily Mail.

Dominic Utton is a freelance journalist and writer. He worked as a feature writer for the Daily Express and has written for most national newspapers, including the Sun, the Mail, the Mirror and the Telegraph. He recently published his first novel, Martin Harbottle’s Appreciation of Time.

This event is presented by London College of Communication’s Journalism programme. These expert talks and panels are on topics of interest to anybody who studies journalism, works as a journalist or takes an interest in the media.
