Offering a new perspective on poetry and World War One, this roundtable discussion will examine the poems and lives of two of England’s most interesting modernist poets, and consider pacifism, conscientious objection, nationalism, modernism, and Judaism in the East End.
With Dr Ian Patterson (Cambridge), Professor Bryan Cheyette (Reading), Shaun Levin (author of Isaac Rosenberg’s Journey to Arras: A Meditation), and Dr Nadia Valman (QMUL).
