Trespass: Shobana Jeyasingh Dance

Event Details

Date:
3rd July, 2015
Time:
10.00 – 17.00

Trespass explores the emerging possibilities for relationships between human behaviour and intelligent environments; the ways in which creative and emotional impulses might be instantly extended to and reflected back by the architecture and structures that surround us.

This is a unique collaboration with academics from the Department of Informatics and the Faculty of Natural & Mathematical Sciences at King’s College London; The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL and Shobana Jeyasingh Dance.

Trespass is part of an ongoing partnership between Shobana Jeyasingh Dance and Culture at King’s College London. It is the first stage of a larger scale project that will explore these themes over the next two years, leading to a new piece of work for Shobana Jeyasingh Dance and fresh academic insights. The research and development phase will take place during the week of the 29 June at The Anatomy Theatre, Kings College London and will be open to the public on some days. If you would like to attend an event or find out more about the project, please contact culture@kcl.ac.uk

This project has evolved from the Knowledge Producers programme, produced by Culture at King’s to support collaborations between artists and academics.
