Final year choreography students have been working with the Royal Air Force Museum London to create responsive dance performances that enhance the Museums temporary exhibition Defying Gravity.
Creative responses were premiered on 20 April 2015 for three graduating choreographers’ final degree assessment, and these works are returning to the museum over the course of this year.
A live performance between two dancers, exploring and responding to the portraits of First World War RAF soldiers beyond their composed, heroic snapshots.
Choreographed by Sara-Jayne Berrill, BA Dance Studies (Choreography).
Performed by Natalie Merrifield and Ashleigh Sims, BA Dance Performance.
Performances take place at 12.30, 1.30 and 2.30 within the First World War in the Air exhibition in the Grahame-White Factory at the Royal Air Force Museum London.
