In this lecture at Queen Mary University of London, Peter Hennessy will examine the pleasures, pains and pitfalls of writing contemporary history and the potent impact of memory – individual and shared – on how we react to breaking events.
This lecture is free of charge and is open to all. It will take place in the Great Hall, People’s Palace from 6.30pm on Friday 2nd October.
Peter returns to QMUL to deliver this keynote lecture as part of a School-wide event, a reunion for history alumni on Friday 2 October 2015.
