7th February, 2014 / 11.00am - 4.00pm
3rd November, 2015
This project engaged first year students studying for a BA in Jewellery Design with the rich history of the Foundling Hospital. Over a series of visits to the Museum and the London Metropolitan Archives, each student produced an artistic response to the history of the Hospital, their pieces linked to an object or element of the story.
Covering a range of materials and processes, these diverse pieces offer fresh and engaging ways of looking at the Foundling Hospital story. An exhibition of the students’ work can be found in the Introductory Gallery, while a selection of their jewellery will be on sale in the Museum Shop from November.]
We will be closing the booking for this discussion on #gendered workloads in #academia tomorrow afternoon, to allow full and frank discussion, the event will NOT be recorded, so if you would like to be part of the conversation, please reserve your place ASAP. twitter.com/gemmaouten/sta…
