LSBU is proud to be hosting an original performance by Drama and Performance students, New York Theatre Workshop and Southwark Playhouse Elders Company at the onsite Edric Theatre
LSBU will be welcoming the groundbreaking New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) and are thrilled that they are working in partnership with BA Drama and Performance students and Southwark Playhouse Elders Company to create an original new work based on their innovative Mind the Gap programme which creates original intergenerational theatre from the stories and experiences of the participants.
About New York Theatre Workshop:
New York Theatre Workshop is one of New York City’s leading not-for-profit Off-Broadway theatre companies. For more than three decades, NYTW has provided a home to artists to hone their creative voice, a space for them to develop their projects and a platform to produce ground breaking work. NYTW’s partnership initiatives provide access to the vision and methods of the artist, and enable audiences of all ages to participate in a community of dynamic learning where the developmental process, the final production and the ensuing exchange of ideas have a profound impact on all involved.
