Job Vacancy: Deputy Head of Education and Skills

Overview of Role

Creative education and skills is one of the most urgent challenges facing the UK’s creative industries, and one of the Federation’s three strategic priorities.

This important role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to the sector by leading, developing and delivering the Federation’s work with our fast-growing network of HE and FE members as well as those who see education and skills as a priority.

The Deputy Head, Education and Skills will oversee the relationship management of the Federation’s HE/FE membership from both a policy and commercial perspective. They will advocate on behalf of the sector’s priorities and seek opportunities both to collaborate with partners and attract revenue in order to develop innovative initiatives that will benefit the sector. The Deputy Head, Education and Skills will shape the Federation’s work in order to ensure that the membership to the Federation of HE and FE organisations, and those organisations with an active interest in education and skills, remains of significant value. The role will offers opportunities for regular travel outside of London to engage with HE/FE members across the UK.
