The Institute for Diplomacy and International Governance (IDIG) at Loughborough University London and the Department of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) at Loughborough University are holding a series of joint symposia to exchange ideas and develop research.

The symposium will consist of two main presentations, delivered by:

Dr. Cristina Flesher Fominaya (POLIS), Reader in Social Politics and Media
Bridging vertical and horizontal logics of collective action: overcoming cognitive dissonance
between 15-M and Podemos
Discussant: Dr. Giorgos Katsambekis

Dr. Aidan McGarry (IDIG), Reader in International Politics
Political Voice: Protest and Marginalized Groups
Discussant: Dr. Ali Bilgic
